VILLA REYES

The Villa Reyes 3rd floor deck provides panoramic views, comfortable lounge chairs, a dining table, wet bar and 5 burner gas grill.  Cooling is provided by prevailing ocean breezes, coconut palm fronds and even a palapa ceiling fan. UNIQUE TO VILLA REYES - we also offer a new roof top "day bed" with screening for guests with special sensitivity to flying insects.  Always enjoy the beautiful outdoors in great comfort. 

Villa Reyes offers 1750 sq ft of interior space and a huge third floor deck  ... a roomy private villa featuring great comfort and convenience. The Dining Room pictured above is one of three dining options. There is a dining table on the second floor deck and a dining table on the rooftop deck. All three spaces have sweeping ocean views and overlook the pool.

There are two large bedroom suites with kingsize beds and huge storage closets. Each suite has a  large tiled shower and a colorful bathroom.  Both suites are situated to maximize privacy, have ocean views, open onto a veranda, and are located on the first floor. An iPhone charging dock , alarm clock, and hairdryer are provided. (There is a rollaway bed, crib, and inflatible mattresses - twin & queen -, to accommodate children or young adults. A resort style canopy bed has recently been added on the third floor sun deck. Frolic there in the day time or, the adventuresome can enjoy a starry, starry night.)

The second floor kitchen is equipped to accommodate your every need. There is a full size refrigerator/ freezer, dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, juicer, blender, coffee maker (12 cup), coffee grinder, toaster, and more.  The selection of stem ware, utensils, pots/pans, etc is very extensive. There is a washer & dryer on the second floor which your housekeeper will use to wash your clothing.

The comfortable den has a DVD player with a flat screen TV for movies, should you be so inclined. For music, we have a 160W mini component system (Samsung MX-630E) w/UBS input for your MP3 cable & karaoke mike input. (There is also a an Ipod/Iphone charger with speakers in the bedroom.) There are basic board games, cards, books, and a modest collection of DVD's / CD's. The downstairs closet is well equipped with boogie boards.  There are also life preservers for adults and children ( see Gabriel if you need a different size). Umbrellas, sand chairs and mats are provided. The den has sliding doors leading to a covered deck ... more lounge chairs and a breakfast table.

The third floor deck is especially popular for breakfast, coffee, sunset happy hours, massage, and star gazing. A variety of comfortable lounge chairs are available for use in the sun or under the shade of the palapa roof. Villa Reyes' unique custom insect screens around the palapa insures your comfort during the early evening The palapa is equipped with a ceiling fan and lights.  A CD player is located under the "bar". The gas grill and wet bar provide added convenience. The new outdoor canopy bed takes "leisure" to a whole new level.  

Currently, Villa Reyes is the only Playa LasTortugas rental that has airconditioning in the living areas (plus the bedrooms).  Note: judicious use of air conditioning is requested because this is an eco-friendly resort. Insect screening has also been added to provide special comfort for the outdoor area on the rooftop deck.

Enjoy the comfort of Villa Reyes, the tranquility of Playa Las Tortugas and the gorgeous weather. Having your own private home on a large lot insures privacy . Daily maid service can be limited if you prefer.  Meals can be prepared in your kitchen by the housekeeping staff. (Sample menus are provided on this Website.  The cost is $30 oer day, per person. Please request this service in advance.  You can request meals for just a few days or for your entire stay.)

*A native Hawaian who resides nearby describes this area of coastal Mexico as being "like Hawaii before the crush of tourist and high-rise hotels".  Most visitors here simply call it "paradise"!
